Robust instrumentation is a fundamental component of achieving plant automation goals. An effective approach to specification and procurement of fully functional instrument devices requires the ability to develop industry-accepted device specifications and datasheets so that clear requirements can be communicated to suppliers.
The course is designed to equip all delegates with up-to-date information on international industry-accepted methods for specifying various instrumentation equipment used in industrial plants and facilities. As a requirement for all engineering disciplines, understanding these allows all instrument vendors to deliver plant instruments that are fit-for-purpose to each plant.
Delegates will be supplied with the methodology used in completing all sections of a technical datasheet with the required information specific for each project use.
